Thankful (I Love Honey)

Hello!

Are you all getting ready for the New Years Eve? Do you prefer to party or stay at home with your family and/or friends? Will you be cooking/baking something special for the New Year's dinner?

Anyway, where ever you decide to be tomorrow night, I hope you have a great time and I wish you all a verry Happy, Prosperious and a Healthy New Year! :)

This week at Cute Card Thursday the theme is "Thank You".
I have used one of my Stampavie stamps for my DT card.

The stamp is called "I Love Honey", designed by Penny Johnson and it's another one of the stamps I bought and never used. I think the image is absolutely adorable. The paper is from the Memory Box, the flowers are Petalloo, the brads are Woodware. The sentiment is Whiff of Joy and the lace and the ribbon are from stash.

As usual, I used my watercolour pencils to colour the image.

And since we are mentioning Stampavie, you probably don't know that a couple of months ago I won one of the Stampavie challenges (it was a secret prize) and I just wanted to show you a picture of everyhting I got from them! It arrived a few days ago, what a wonderful New Year's present. Sorry for the bad picture, though.

I know!! I never expected such a huge prize, a big thank you to Stampavie!!

So, with my card I'm entering:

Cupcake Craft challenges - "Thank You"
My Time to Craft - "Brand, Spanking New" (my stamp and the lace are new)
Papertake Weekly - "A Very Special Thank You"
Quixotic Paperie December challenge - "Thank You"
C.R.A.F.T Challenge - "Thank You"

Have a lovely evening! :)

Valerie's Gift

Hi!

I made another Whimsy Stamps card. It took about an hour to make this one, maybe less (including the colouring of the images) and I must say I'm quite happy with the result, that doesn't happen very often..

I wanted to make a "Clean and Simple" card, so I just used some grey cardstock, no layers, papers... I stamped three Whimsy stamps. The main, girl image is called Valerie's Gift designed by Crissy Armstrong and I used one of the stamps from the Jingle Bell Ride set also designed by Crissy. The sentiment is from the Love Letter Seals set designed by Raindrop Echo Designs. The ribbon was bought at a local craft store.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils and Sakura Stardust gelly roll pen.

Whimsy Stamps Kenny K Rubber Release Blog Hop!!!

Hello!

Welcome to the Whimsy Stamps Kenny K Rubber Relase Blog Hop!!

If you arrived here from Chris Olsen's blog you are on the right track, but if not, then please go back to Simonne's blog to start the hop from the beginning!!

Whimsy Stamps have a fantastic news to share with you today - we have a new rubber artist joining our team.... KENNY KIERNAN!

I'm sure that many of you know that Kenny K is currently a digital stamp artist (amongst many other things) and although Whimsy will not be carrying any Kenny K digis, we are making some of Kenny's existing designs into rubber and then hopefully adding some new designs along the line that will be exclusive to the Whimsy rubber collection!

So to celebrate this fabulous new relelase, the Whimsy Stamps DT plus our wonderful special Whimsy guests Elaine Hughes, Deb, and Janna, are holding a BLOG HOP to showcase the EIGHT images that are being made into rubber, the images are:

So, remember that Whimsy Stamps will be carrying the rubber versions of these stamps only. Kenny K will continue to offer the digital versions in his store. The rubber stamps are available to PRE-ORDER from today from the Whimsy store, and all preorders will begin shipping during the week of the 27th!

Our wonderful and extremely talented Ann (Raindrop Echo Designs) has designed some fabulous digital sentiments that work beautifully with these images - thank you Ann! These are also being released today.

For this hop we have 4 different prize draws! The grand prize of ALL 8 of the new release rubber stamps is being hosted by Denise at the very end of the hop, but there are also 3 mini candy stops throughout the hop! (Winners will be announced on December 23rd after the hop ends - what a wonderful Christmas present for those lucky hoppers!)

For my blog hop creation I used Rock Chick.

Don't you just love her?! I used one of Ann Vento's new Fast Lane sentiments and the papers are Memory Box - "Black Bird". I added a few stars, an orange lace and a brown ribbon from stash. I distressed all the papers and added some glitter glue.

I coloured the Rock Chick with watercolour pencils.

This is the sentiment I used.

So now it's time for you to continue the hop,
your next stop is at
Ann Vento's blog where I know she has something amazing to show you!

Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

I also used my Nesties and added some gingham ribbons and rope which I bought at a local craft store. I bought the buttons this summer in Greece. lol I also added some glitter (red and green) on the bows in girls hair.

I stamped the BnW stamp with VersaMark on a grey cardstock and heat embossed it, I used a Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder - "Arctic Pearl Lustre".

I've entered these ornaments into the Belles 'n Whistles Holiday Ornaments contest. The contest is open for three weeks and if you want to participate you have to upload your card to their galery. Just follow the link to read all the info.
