It's finally gotten cold here. :)
Today Iwant to show you a Whimsy Stamps card which I made about a month and a half ago and which was published in the last issue of
Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Magazine Issue 14. It's a pop up card. And alongwith it, I made a tutorial about colouring a winter image, I hope you like it. :)

Danas zelim da vam pokazem jednu Whimsy Stamps cestitku koju sam napravila pre jedno mesec i po dana i koja je objavljena u zadnjem Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Magazin-u, izdanje 14. :) To je jedna pop-up cestitka. A uz nju sam uradila i jedan tutotijal o bojenju zimskog motiva, nadam se da ce vam se svideti. :)

The paper is MME, The Merry Days of Christmas. The stamps are Whimsy.
Papir je MME, The Merry Days of Christmas. Pecati su Whimsy.
I made a window, added some lace...and made a real Christmas/New Years atmosphere. :)
Napravila sam i prozorcic, dodala, cipke,... i napravila pravu novogodisnju atmosferu. :)
And here is the tutorial:
When colouring with watercolour pencils you need to use:
1. a waterproof ink, so the ink wouldn't run
2. a watercolour paper (the thicker the better) so the paper wouldn't tear
For
this tutorial I used 'Let it Snow' - Wee stamp for Whimsy Stamps;
StazOn Jet Black Tsukineko ink pad; Staedtler watercolour pencils; a
small water container; paint brush with thin top; a tissue paper on which I remove the excess paint and water.
The image was stamped on a 300g watercolour paper.

Kad bojimo akvarel bojicama, moramo da koristimo:
1. Vodootporno mastilo, da se mastilo ne bi razmazalo
2. akvarel papir, sto tezi to bolje, da se ne bi cepao.
Za ovaj tutorijal sam koristila 'Let it Sno', Wee Stamp for Whimsy Stamps pecat, StazOn, Jet Black Tsukineko mastilo,Staedtler akvarel bojice, malu posudu za vodu, cetkicu sa tankim vrhom, papirnu maramicu na koju brisem visak boje i vode.
Motiv je pecatiran na 300g akvarel papiru.
I'm starting off with the jacket, hat, scarf, mittens and middle part of
the boots. I'm using next colours: brown, pink, red and beige. I'm
adding pink first in the parts which are visually in the shade and
should be darker; by the lines of the sleeve, hat, mitten and boot. Then
I continue by adding red colour right next to the pink, without any
straight lines, or empty spaces left between those two colours. After
that I add beige, in the parts which should be the lightest, like the
middle of the sleeve and the hat. I use these colours for the mouse's
scarf as well.
At the end I'm adding brown colour only in the darkest corners and just a little.
Pocinjem sa jaknom, kapom, salom, rukavicama i cizmama. Koristim sledece boje: braon, roze, crvenu i bez. Dodajem pink boju prvo, u krajeve koji su vizuelno u senci i koji bi trebalo da budu tamniji, uz linije rukava, kape, rukavice i cizme. Zatim nastavljam sa crvenom bojom, dodajem je odmah uz roze, bez pravih linija ili praznog prostora izmedju te dve boje, Posle toga dodajem bez, na mesta koja bi trebalo da su najsvetlija, kao sto je sredina rukava i kape. Koristim ove boje i za misicev sal.
Na kraju dodajem braon boju samo u najtamnije uglove i samo malo.
After that I use paint brush and water to blend the colours. I start
from the lightest colour to the darkest, then I move the brush from the
darkest colour back to the lightest and then I move it back again... I
'arrange' the colours until I'm suttisfied with the effect. I use a
tissue paper to take off any exscess colour, or water off the brush.
Nakon toga koristim cetkicu i vodu i bojim. Pocinjem od najsvetlije ka najtamnijom, onda povlacim cetkicu od najtamnije ka najsvetlijoj i onda ponovo nazad...'Rasporedjujem' boje sve dok nisam zadovoljna postignutim efektom. Koristim papirnu maramicu da izbrisem svaki visak boje i vode sa cetkice.
Now I use dark green, light green and yellow and I add them in that
order, again dark green goes in the darkest parts, then I add light
green, while yellow goes in the parts which are visually the lightest. I
add these colours to some parts of the hat, scarf, mittens and boot.

Onda koristim tamno zelenu, svetlo zelenu i zutu i dodajem ih tim redosledom, ponovo, tamno zelena ide u najtamnije delove, onda dodajem svetlo zelenu, dok zuta ide na mesta koja su vizuelno najsvetlija. Dodajem ove boje i na neke delove kape, sala, rukavice i cizme.

Then again, I use the paint brush and water and colour in the same way.
Onda ponovo, koristim cetkicu i vodu i bojim na isti nacin.
Now I use dark blue and light blue for the jeans and I add a little bit
of light blue on the fur of the hat, jacket and boots,which I want to be
white and I also add some light blue colour to the snow.
Sad koristim tamno plavu i svetlo plavu za farmerice, dodajem malo svetlo plave na krzno na kapi, jakni i cizmi, za koje zelim da budu beli i dodajem malo svetlo plave boje na sneg.
And I colour with paintbrush.
I bojim cetkicom.
Now it's time to colour the hair. I'm using black, which I add to the
corners, brown and yellow which goes in the lightest parts, the middle
of the hair. I will use the same colours to colour the sledges and will
add the colours in the same order.
Sad je vreme da obojimo kosu. Koristim crnu, koju dodajem u uglove, braon i zutu koja ide u najsvetlije delove, sredinu kose. Koristicu iste boje da obojim sanke i dodavacu ih po istom redu.
I bojimo.
And we colour.
I'm now colouring the bunny and the little mouse. I'm using black,
brown, red and beige, and to the bunny I also add some light blue, to
get a bit of a more light grey look. I add some red colour to the
cheeks.
Sad bojim zeca i misica. Koristim crnu, braon, crvenu i bez, a na zecu takodje i malo svetlo plave, da bih dobila taj neki svetlo sivi ton. Dodajem malo crvene boje na obraze.
And it's time for paintbrush and water.
I voda i cetkica dolaze na red.
Now it's time to colour the face. I always use red, orange and beige for
the skin. I'm adding red in the corners and lips, then some orange,
which I put on the nose and under the lips and the rest of the face I
colour with beige.
Sad je vreme da obojimo lice. Uvek koristim crvenu, narandzastu i bez za livce i kozu. Dodajem crvenu u krajeve i na usne, onda narandzastu, koju stavljam na nos i ispod usana, a ostatak lica bojim bez bojom.
After blending those colours with paint brush and water, I add some red color to the cheek. And the image is done. :)
Posto zavrsim bojenje lica cetkicom, dodajem malo crvene bje na obraze. I motiv je gotov. :)
Sometimes I use Sakura white gel pen on the finished image to add some
highlights to some parts, like hair and I put a dot or three on the
cheeks. :)

Ponekad na zavrsenom (obojenom) motivu koristim Sakura belu gel olovku, da istaknem neke svetle delove, kao na primer na kosi i stavim tacku ili tri na obraze. :)
