Ukrasavanje rama za sliku - tutorijal/Altered Picture Frame-tutorial

Zdravo svima!

Hello everyone!
A few days ago, as I finally decided to clear the mess in my computer (photos are everywhere, folders "lost in time"...), by accident I stumbled upon  a tutorial which I made four years ago and which was published on my old blog ( which doesn't exist since 2009), so I decided to post the tutorial here and share it with you, as it seemed kind of cute and interesting. :)

Sta sam sve koristila:
Ram, naravno, zatim dva razlicita papira za cestitke/scrapbook (u ovom slucaju Sweet Shoppe Designs i Basic Grey), makaze, skalpel, konac, motiv (u ovom slucaju pecat Whiff of Joy), pecat "pcela" - Stumpin' Up, obostrano lepljiva traka i nekoliko dugmica.

What I used:

Picture frame, of course, then two different papers for cards/scrapbook (n this case Sweet Shoppe Designs and Basic Grey), scissors, scalpel, rope, an image (in this case a Whiff of Joy stamp), a bee stamp from Stumpin' Up, doublesided tape and a few buttons.

A stamped image I coloured with watercolour pencils, to match the papers, then I cut it out.
This image of a boy I chose because I wanted to frame one of my photos with my nephew, which I did.

Koristeci obostranu lepljivu traku zalepila sam papir  sa jedne strane rama.
Using doublesided tape I attached the paper to one side of the frame.

Then I turned the frame around and cut the paper, like in the photo above.

Koristeci  obostranu lepljivu traku, zalepila sam drugi papir na kvadrate u coskovima rama.
Using doublesided tape I attached the other paper on the cubes in the corners of the frame.

Sada je ram spreman za dalje ukrasavanje.
Now the frame is ready for further decorating.

Vezala sam konac i koristeci istu taku zalepila motiv decaka, kao na slici iznad.
I tied the yarn/rope and using the same tape attached the image of a boy, like in the photo above.

Ispecatirala sam nekoliko puta "pcelu" na papiru.
I stamped the "bee" a few times on the paper.

Isto sam uradila i na ramu, ispecatirala sam pcelu na nekoliko mesta, a zatim obojila motive pcela na papiru i izrezala ih.
I did the same on the frame, I stamped the bee ina  few different places, then coloured the bee images on the paper and cut them out.

On each place where I stamped the bee on the frame I attached one coloured bee, leaving thir wings free.

On the left side I attached a few different buttons, like in the photo above.

I ram je bio spreman. :)
And the frame was ready. :)

Bila sam i jos uvek sam zadovoljna rezultatom.
I was and aI still am happy with the result. :) I hope you liked my little tutorial.

My first House Mouse card :)

Hello!

I've always loved those cute House Mouse images, and it's been awhile since I decided to get a few of the stamps, but it was only recently, sometime in July, when I was actually able to buy some of them. As soon as I saw that House Mouse sets were available at Bunny Zoes Crafts I ordered one. Here is a card I made with one of the images from the set.

The image is from the House Mouse set - "Fireplace". The paper is Heidi Grace, the flowers are Petallo. The sentiment is Queen Kat Designs, while the lace, ribbon and the rope are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils.

I'm entering the House Mouse & Friends challenge which have a special sketch and blog hop (2years anniversary of the challenge blog)

Two more Belles 'n Whistles cards

Good evening!
I've made two more cards today using my new Belles 'n Whistles stamps from the Spring/Clean/Summer collection. The BnW DT call ends tonight, so I'm using this opportunity to enter the call for the second time with the first one of my two cards. I also followed the sketch at the Sketch Saturday.
I'm also entering the Papertake Weekly challenge which has the theme - "Shiny, Sparkly and Special";
Lili of the Valley challenge with the theme - "Here comes Summer";
Stamp Something challenge which has the theme - "Birthday somethings"

I really love this adorable Belles 'n Whistles stamp which is called "Wishes". I wanted to achive the "sepia look", so I stamped the image with my distress ink pad - "Vintage Photo", which I bought at the Secret Crafter, that's where the paper and the brads came from, too. The paper is My Minds Eye, "Bloom and Grow". The sentiment is Whiff of Joy. The flowers are Prima and I added one bordoux flower and bordoux cardstock for the base to give a nice contrast to the rest of the card. The flowers came form Bunny Zoes Crafts. The lace, ribbon, rope and the pins are from stash.

I also distressed around the image, sentiment and the paper with the same ink pad and also added lots of glitter on the flowers and the grass in the image and also on the edges of the image and the sentiment. It's not easy to capture all the lovely sparkle on the card, I tried from different angles. I hope you could notice in the photo above, it really has a lovely shiny look in real life.

Like I said, I used "Vintage Photo" distress ink pad to stamp and colour the image. I used my paint brush and some water for the colouring, adding more ink in some places.

the sketch at the Sketch Saturday:

My second BnW card was made for the Roses on Paper/Belles 'n Whistles challenge, which is a colour combo - pink, orange and yellow.
I also followed the sketch at the Timbroscrapmania
I'm also entering the ABC challenge which has the theme - "U is for unused stash" and my stamp is brand new :)

This Belles 'n Whistles stamp is called "Belle with Laundry" and it's also from the Spring/Clean/Summer collection. The collection is soo beautiful, I still can't decide which stamp is my favourite! :) The papers are again MME "Bloom and Grow". The sentiment is Whiff of Joy, the stamp in the corners is SU. The white flower is Poppicrafts. The rest is from stash.

The image has been coloured with watercolour pencils.
