Little Miss Poppy card

Hello!

Isn't this cute Little Miss Poppy the most adorable stamp? I love it! I decided to use it for the card I made today for the Roses on Paper challenge, which has the theme - "Stitches" and the Simon Says Stamp challenges has the theme - "Stitch It Up" (thanks for the hint, Anne :) ).
I just added a bit of faux stitching in some of the corners, I hope my entry counts. :)

Like I said the stamp is "Little Miss Poppy" from Belles 'n Whistles. The flowery paper is K&Co, I knew it would go very well with the cute image, the moment I saw it. The sentiment is Stampendous. I used a Westcott punch and added some flowers which I stamped with a flower stamp from the Queen Kat Designs. The green flowers are from the Poppicrafts. I added a ribbon, two purple gems and pins from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolours.

Thank you for stopping by! :)

Fall Willow holding Baby Turkey and a few challenges

Good evening!

I made this card just for fun following no challenges and sketches, but when I finished it I realized it actually does fit a few of challenges, so I'm entering the following with this card:

Stamp with Fun has the theme -"Autumn" this week. Now, I didn't really use Autumn colours, but I used this cute Autumn image.
Also, My time to craft has the theme - "Autumn Fest", to use on our cards anything that has to do with Autumn.
Dutch Dare Cards Challenge is a colour inspiration this week and they have a lovely sample picture.
Secret Crafter Saturday challenge has the theme - "One for the Girls", any creation as long as it's girl themed.
And I think that's it this time. :)

I used another stamp from the Whiff of Joy fall kit for this card. The papers are K&Co, which I bought at Bunny Zoes Crafts and one is from stash. The white flowers are from the Poppicrafts. The lace, ribbon and the button are from stash.

The image has been coloured with watercolours, as usual.

There are so many challenges I'd like to enter and I have lots of new stamps that I still haven't had to chance to use, so I hope to be able to find some time to make a couple more cards in the next couple of days.

Thank you for stopping by and thank you to everyone who left such nice comments on my previous post, I appreciate it very much! :)
Have a lovely evening!

Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Call and A Sad News..

Hello!
Maybe you've noticed my absence from the blogland this week, it's because my dear Grandpa died on Sunday.
He was a great man, one of the people that never go unnoticed, one of a kind.
I think that all those who never got the chance to meet him, those who never knew him, they missed a lot. He was part of my life for 26 years, I'm very sad and I miss him so much.
I just hope that wherever he is now, that he is happy and I'm grateful for thousands of beautiful memories he left behind.
I had no time for cards these days, nor I felt like making cards in the first place, but today I just needed to create something and I wanted to use one of my Whiff of Joy, Fall Kit stamps.

I want to enter the Whiff of Joy GDT call (it's still open) with this card. So if you haven't entered yet, you have time to do so till September 19th, 8pm CET.

Here is my card:

I really love Autumn. I love the make Autumn cards, to play with gorgeous Autumn colours and embellies.
I used Fall Willow catching leaves and Large Pumpkings stamps from the Whiff of Joy for this card. The papers are Basic Grey. The sentiment stamp is also Whiff of Joy. The corner stamp is from the Queen Kat Designs. The yellow roses were bought at Bunny Zoes Crafts. The lace and the rope are from stash.

The images were coloured with watercolours.

This is my third time entering the GDT calls at Katharina's from the Whiff of Joy. The last two times I wasn't succesful and I honestly don't expect much this time, either. Everyone who knows me, knows that I love Whiff of Joy stamps from the beginning and I just wanted to make a card, which I must say, I'm pleased with.

So, if you still haven't entered the Whiff of Joy GDT call , just follow the link to see what you should do to apply. You have time till tommorow (Saturday 19th 8pm CET).

We are not sure when the challenges will continue. Thank you to everyone who loved and entered our challenges in the last three months. We appreciate your support.
And thank you Kimmi and Donna, for giving me the opportunity to work with all the great ladies from the team and for the fabulous challenge blog that Stampin' for the Weekend is. Both Kimmi and Donna are wonderful ladies and great people. My thoughts are with you girls.

I hope next time I'll have something prettier to say! :) Thank you for stopping by and have a great day. :)

Picnic with Dolly and happy post, again :)

Good evening!

I made a card today using one of my new SCACD stamps designed by Elisabeth Bell. I followed the sketch at A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge and the colour sheme of Pink and Green is this weeks challenge at the Cute Card Thursday.

Like I said, for this card, I used one of the SCACD stamps which, as you maybe remember, I won at Elisabeth Bell's . This is the second one I coloured in, it's called - "Dolly". Isn't it adorable? The papers are from stash, just as are the pink ribbon, buttons and the pearls. The pink flowers are from the Poppicrafts and the sentiment is Whiff of Joy.
