Hello...and Happy Holidays!!

Hello everyone, remember me!? :)
I've been busy, busy and extremely busy during the last couple of weeks.
We celebrated St. Nicholas on December 19th (it's my family's Home Patron Saint) and if I tell you that we made 17 different sorts of cookies, you can imagine what kind of preparations we had.
I had my exam on December 10th (the second part of it), which went very well and now I have only one, final exam left for the end of January/beginning of February. Six months later than I originaly planed, but I'm getting my diploma, very soon. :)
I had very little (practically no time) for crafting, but I made a couple of cards and some Christmas ornaments. I need to take photos and then I will post them, but probably after the New Years.
Anyway, just in case you stumble upon my blog in the next few days, I wanted to wish you all

A Very Merry Christmas and A Joyous New Year!!!
Hugs

Two cards for a few challenges

Hello!
I have two cards to show you today.
A Christmas one, which I made yesterday. I followed the sketch at this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge and the Basic Grey challenge this week has the theme - "Glitz and Bling", I don't know how well you can see in the photo, but I used glitter glue and gelly roll pen, so I actually have lots of glitz there. :)

I used another one of my Lili of the Valley stamps from their Christmas release, this one is called "Christmas Bunnies - Tree". I coloured the image with watercolours and used sakura gelly roll pen for the snow and for the sentiment which is from the Whiff of Joy. The papers are Basic Grey, the lovely tree charm is from Bunny Zoes Crafts; the lace and the ribbon are from stash.

And this is the sketch at Friday Sketchers:

And my second card -
(which I made some time ago, but totally forgot about posting it). It's a good thing that I had a photo of it taken and saved in one of the folders, because this card has been mailed to a friend. Anyway, I realized it fits this weeks challenge at Stamptacular Sunday challenge which is called - "Nature - tacular", to make a card or some other project that reminds us of being outside, using Autumn colours.

For this card I used one of my favourite Whiff of Joy stamps - Willow with Umbrella and sentiment also from the Whiff of Joy. The papers are K&Co and the ribbon is from stash.

Willow was coloured with watercolours.

Thank you for stopping by! :)

Sunshine & Apples and a few challenges

Good afternoon!
I've been cleaning the leaves in my yard enjoying the fresh air, it's seems like it's going to rain. I really have nothing against rain, but I was going to go for a bike ride and now I won't be able to..
Last night while going through my cards to see how many Christmas ones I have I found two cards which had been made about a month a go, but have never been posted. This is the first one, I'm entering the following challenges with it:
Roses on Paper & Belles'n Whistles challenge has the theme - "Romance or Sweet" and I think the image I used on this card it's very romantic and totally sweet.
Stamp Something challenge has the theme - "Thank You somethings" and the sentiment I used on my cards fits very well.
My Time to Craft challenge has the theme - "Under My Umbrella"
EtA: I'm entering the Quxotic Paperie challenge #4 which has the theme - "Tearing". I hope my entry will count, considering the fact that I posted my card two days before this challenge had started, if not never mind. :)

The stamp is adorable Sunshine & Apples, Belles 'n Whistles from their first release (have you seen the most beautiful Christmas stamps from the newest relese? Join the blog hop - here). The sentiment stamp is SU, the paper and the rope are from stash. The brown flower is Poppicrafts and the yellow roses are from Bunny Zoes Crafts.

Sunshine was coloured with watercolours.

Thank you for stopping by and a have a lovely day! :)

Herb with Bird - A Christmas card :)

Good evening!
Finally a card from me! But, I have a good excuse, I've not been at home and have been pretty busy during the week.
I made this card a couple of days ago for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps GDT call.

I used a Whiff of Joy stamp, Herb with Bird. The image was coloured with watercolours. The papers are Debbi Moore, from a CD, which I received from my blogging sister Anne. The sentiment stamp is also Whiff of Joy. I made the flower and the leaves, the brad is from stash, while the red heart gem I received from the lovely Moni.

If you are interested in applying to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps GDT call, go right here where you can read all about it, but hurry up as the GDT call ends today.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely evening! :)

Christmas card - yes, another one..

Good afternoon!
I made another Christmas card last night. This time I wanted to use a Magnolia image and again I combined a few challenges:
I followed the sketch at the Sketch Saturday, sketch #76, Basic Grey challenge, week #7 has a colour inspiration and the Cute Card Thursday, challenge #86 - has the theme - "Glitter Me Silly". I also wanted to enter the "Just Magnolia challenge" , which had the theme - "Distressing", but, I couldn't upload my card last night and today they've posted a new challenge.

The Magnolia image I used was among the images I received in a swap, but I'm not sure whom I got it from.. The sentiment is Whiff of Joy. Both papers are Basic Grey - Wassail and they have been distressed. The flowers are prima, I added two burgundy roses in the centres and added some glitter. The lace and the ribbon are from stash.

The image has been coloured with watercolours as usual and I added some silver, gold and red gitter glue which I bought in a local craft shop.

Now I'm off to "take" some Sun outside, thank you for stopping by! :)

Mimosa is Christmas

Good morning!
It's been a week since I posted a card and even longer since I made one, so I decided to make one last night, using this cute Bildmalarna stamp called "Mimosa is Christmas", which I bought a couple of months ago.

I'm entering the following challenges with it:
Roses on Paper, challenge #24, with the theme - "A Christmas Card".
Stamp with Fun, challenge #31, which has the theme - "A card with a scene".
Stamp with Stampavie and more, challenge #68 ,with the theme - "Stars".
Cute Card Thursday, challenge #85 , with the theme - "Primary Colours - Red, Blue and Yellow".

My card:

I wanted to make a little winter scene. The image has been coloured with watercolours as usual, cut out and mounted onto a circle of a blue card, where I had already stamped some stars. After that I added some sparkle to the stars with my sakura gelly roll pen and added snow with some stickles - frosted lace. You can see how well it sparkles in the next two photos. The paper is Basic Grey, Wassail and I used this lovely sentiment stamp from the Whiff of Joy, which came in the autumn kit, but I think it can fit any season and goes very well with the stamp I used. The yellow ribbon and the pearls are from stash.

You can see how it sparkles in this photo. I must say I really like how these three colours work together.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day! :)

Stampin' for the Weekend, challenge #18

Good morning!
It's Friday today and that means a new challenge at Stampin' for the Weekend!
But, before I show you my DT card and tell you what sort of challenge we've come up with this week, sadly, I would like to inform you first that I have left the Stampin' team. This was a very hard decision for me, as I've been in the team from the beginning and love our challenges and really like all the fabulous ladies from the team and I know I'm going to miss it all, but it had to be done. Right now I can't give my 100% to the team and the best thing was to leave. I just hope that I was able to give you some inspiration while I was in the team! :)

Now, onto the challenge and onto my DT card (my last DT card for SFTW)
This weeks challenge is called - Back to the 80's with a difference.

It is a combination of any of the titles of the three songs offered and a colour combo of Purple, Orange and Blue.

We have three songs from the 80's and you only need to base your card on one of the titles of the songs. The songs being offered are:

1. Girls on Film - Duran Duran
2. Dirty Laundry - Don Henley

3.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper

So, base your creation on one of the titles of the three songs (not lyrics), interpret it in your own way and be sure to use the following colour combo of -Purple, Orange and Blue.

Here is my DT card, based on the title of the third song - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper :

I used another of my SCACD stamps designed by Elisabeth Bell - "Spunkette". The paper is K&Co, Sparkly Sweet. The sentiment stamp is Stampendous, the other sentiment is computer generated. The orange flowers have been stamped with a flower stamp from the Queen Kat Designs. I used a heart corner punch, added a purple button which I received from the lovely Moni, while the purple ribbon and orange pins are from stash.

The cute Spunkette has been coloured with watercolours.

We have a fabulous sponsor this week - Peachy Keen Stamps

Here is my card for the Lili of the Valley, challenge #39 first:

I finally used this cute Lili of the Valley stamp, called "Christmas Bunnies - Post" and I think it's really adorable. The sentiment stamp is Queen Kat Designs and the papers are Basic Grey, Wassail. I added Prima flower and burgundy rose which came from Bunny Zoes Crafts, just like the papers. The red ribbon is from stash.

Image was coloured with watercolores and I added some stickles (Frosted Lace) for the snow and coloured some parts of Bunny's hat with sakura gelly roll pen (it doesn't show In the photo, though), but it actually looks very nice.

A Baby card for Alison

Hello!

Here is a card I made for Alison Acton's little baby boy Sam. I made it on Friday and mailed it this morning, so I hope she will receive it soon. If you want to send a baby card to Alison (a wonderful designer for Whiff of Joy stamps) and have the chance to win some of the gorgeous Whiff of Joy stamps, check this post on Katharina's blog. You have time till 0ctober 23rd if you want to participate.

Here is a card I sent to Alison:

I used this cute Whiff of Joy image - Willow with baby, which I received from my blogging sister Anne . The sentiment stamp is Stampendous and the little heart stamp is SU. I stamped some little hearts on the inside, too and added a Whiff of Joy sentiment "Love grows happiness" but forgot to take the photo of it. The paper is from stash. The blue flower is from the Poppicrafts. The rose is from Bunny Zoes Crafts. The laces, ribbon, leaves and button are from stash.

Image was coloured with watercolours and I used my Sakura gelly roll pen to add some sparkle to the heart and sentiment (which you can't really see in the photo).

Also, if you participate in this you get not one, but more than 10 chances to win, because all of the ladies from the Whiff of Joy design team will be giving away some Whiff of Joy stamps to one lucky winner. Check out their blogs:

Of course if you are a Chevalier fan (like me lol) and have read some of her previous books, then you know what I'm talkning about. I have read all five of her books and own and love them all. :)

Roses on Paper challenge #22 and Belles 'n Whistles GDT call

Hellow again!

I made a card today using one of my new Belles 'n Whistles stamps. I made it for the Roses on Paper, challenge #22 which is a colour sheme of orange, brown and green (my favourite combo) and they want us to make our card following a sketch from some other challenge blog. I followed the sketch at the Stamp with Fun, challenge #28. I'm also entering the Cute Card Thursday, challenge 82 which has the theme - Spook Fest, to make a spooky card or project, where my card fits very well.

And now something very important - there is a Belles 'n Whistles GD call going on at the Roses on Paper/Belles n' Whistles challenge blog, open till October 19th. Just click on the link or on the banner bellow to read more about it.

Even though I decided not to enter any DT calls right now, this is a GDT call and plus this is Belles 'n Whistles we are talking about, I just had to give it a go!
And finaly here is my card:

Isn't this stamp the most adorable one? Scarecrow and Little Wizard from the Belles 'n Whistles fall collection. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. This cute little boy reminds me so much of my little nephew, so guess who's getting this card?! :) I also love the paper I used on this card and it is Summertime Designs. The flowers are Prima, which I bought at Bunny Zoes Crafts, that's where the pumpkin charm came from and the B'nW stamp, too. The sentiment is Whiff of Joy. The lace, ribbons, button and pearls are from stash.

Image has been coloured with watercolours.
