The image is called "Love Me Anyway" and the sentiments come from the matching set. The papers are Blom and Grow - MME, The flower is Prima, the ribbon, lace and button are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils.

A Special Wish For You

Good evening!

I made a little card today, using a Belles 'n Whistles stamp and I'm entering the following challenges with it:
Belles 'n Whistles challenge which is a colour combo - white, pink and brown.
A Spoon Full of Sugar with the theme - "Good Luck/Best Wishes".
Craft-alnica with the theme - "Flowers"

The stamp is called "Wishes", and it's from the Belles 'n Whistles - "Spring/Clean/Summer release". I already used it once, but it's so beautiful that I just had to use it again and plus the last time I coloured it I used distress ink and I really wanted to colour it with watercolour pencils, too. This is a very small card, so I only used one little piece of paper, which is K&Co-Clasic K McKenna. I used a border punch and some flowers which have been stamped with a stamp from the Queen Kat Designs. I used a sentiment stamp from the Whiff of Joy - Sheherazade stamp kit. The lace and the ribbon are from stash.

Like I said, the image has been coloured with watercolour pencils, I really enjoy colouring stamped images. I also added some glitter glues on the flowers (pink, green and yellow).

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely evening! :)

Picking Cherries

Hello!

I received some new Stampavie stamps the other day and I couldn't wait to ink up some of them. So, I made a card last night, following the fabulous sketch by Diane at the Stampavie challenges, I rotated the sketch for my card.

The stamp is called "Picking Cherries" designed by Gillian Roberts for Stampavie and I bought it at Secret Crafter and that's where the Woodware brads, which I put in the centre of the flowers, came from, too. The papers are K&Co-Clasic K McKenna, which were bought, just like the Prima flowers which I used, at the Bunny Zoes Crafts. The sentiment is C.C Designs, I used an edge punch and added some lace and ribbon from stash

The adorable image was coloured with watercolour pencils and distressed with a distress ink pad - "Tattered Rose".

This is Diane's sketch at SAV:

Stampavie is having a DT call too, check it out.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day! :)

Teacher is a special word :)

Hello!
Wow, it's been almost a week since I posted a card, well, finally today I have something to show you. :)
It's not a card, but a bookmark which I made for my sister. It's quite simple, no embellishments at all (except a ribbon), but it's how my sister likes it. :)
I'm also entering a couple of challenges with it:
Timbroscrapmania which has the theme -"No cards"
Cute Card Thursday with the theme - "Anything but Square"

I really like this cute C.C Designs little bookworm image called "School Wormy " stamp and the moment I saw it I knew I simply must have it, especially because of the sentiments that go with it, there are three and I've used two of them on this bookmark. My sister is a teacher, she teaches English at a high school :), so the sentiment "Teacher is a special word" was just perfect for the bookmark I wanted to make her and the other sentiment "Read", well, speaks for itself. I used two MME - "Bloom and Grow" papers (well two little pieces, actually) and stamped the images and the sentiments on them. The ribbon and the rope are from stash.

I added some colour to the image with a watercolour pencil and used my Sekura gelly roll pen for the glasses and the "Teacher" word (I'm afraid it doesn't show in the photos).

This is the other side of the bookmark, where I used another sentiment and another piece of paper.

And now, check out the photo bellow:

You may wonder now where I bought the stamps I used for my bookmark, well they came, just like the stamps from the photo above, from JayJay's flohmarkt. That's right! Beside this little set, I also bought a Rachelle Anne Miller stamp and a 25 sentiment red rubber plate and another nice sentiment. I always have an impression that I'm short with sentiments, but I'm not actually, well at least now, definitely. And the lovely JayJay also included another RAM stamp for me and the most amazing card, wow what a fabulous colouring and detail, how very nice of her and the stamps are new, by the way. Thanks so much JayJay!
So check out the fabulous JayJay's flohmarkt, I'm sure you'll find something interesting there. :)

Anyway, the long awaited summer weather finally arrived in our area, in its all glory, I must say... it's been over 30C in the last couple of days and it's about 35C right now, it's just TOO HOT!!

Also, have you seen that High Hopes stamps are having a new release by Dustin Pike and they are having a blog hop, too, on Monday, June 14th!! To read all about it go here.

I hope you all have a lovely Saturday afternoon, thank you for stopping by!

Spider Henry - the coolest mouse evah :)

Good evening!
Today I made a card using this adorable Whiff of Joy , Spider Henry digital image, which has been ilustrated by Alison Acton and is offered by the lovely Katharina as a free digi download on her blog! How awesome is that?!
I'm also entering the Whiff of Joy challenge with this card, as I followed their sketch and the Simon Says challenge which wants us to make a male card.

The image is, like I said, free Whiff of Joy digital image. The paper is Basic Grey- Arhaic. I used one of my border punches, a corner stamp from Queen Kat Designs, Sakura gelly roll pen and a star stamp. The sentiment is also Whiff of Joy and the rope is from stash. I wanted to give this card a smoky, messy look, so I disressed a lot.

Spider Henry has been coloured with watercolour pencils.

This is the sketch at the Whiff of Joy that I followed:

If you would like to get this totally awesome Spider Henry image, just click on the banner bellow to read all about it on Katharina's blog.

Looking forward to Summer :)

Hello!
I made a card last night for some challenges. After a Christmas theme last time, I thought I'd go summer with this card! :)
It's been an awful Spring this year, with a terrible weather, just a several warm Sunny days and only rain, rain, rain... It's cloudy and cold today, again, thankfully it's not raining at the moment, but those ugly grey clouds that I can see through the window are simply working against us... :(
I can't wait for those hot summer days now, I used to complain about our summer temperatures here (sometimes over 40C), but I look forward to them now, I just ask for a bit of Sun! Is that too much!? :)

Anyway, I'm entering the following challenges: Belles 'n Whistles (you know how I adore these stamps) have started with the challenges on their own BnW blog now and this is their first Belles 'n Whistles challenge - they want us to "create a project incorporating D.I.Y. Flowers", which is , I believe to create our own flowers.
Cupcake Craft challenge has the theme - "Summer Delights''
Papertake Weekly, with the theme - "Fun, fun, fun..."
Everybody Art challenge, the theme is "Summer"
Stamp with Stampavie and more, the theme is also - "Summer"
Timbroscrapmania challenge has the theme - "Rosa Fashion", I do have a bit of green, too on my card, but I think pink dominates
A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge with the theme - "Celebrations"
and Lili of the Valley challenge - I followed the sketch.

For this card I used another stamp from the Belles 'n Whistles Spring/Clean/Summer collection (I won the whole release, if you remember), I adore this beautiful image! The papers are My Mind Eye - "Bloom and Grow" and just like the brads I used, they came from here. The sentiment is Whiff of Joy. I also used one of my border punches and a corner punch, too and the ribbons are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils.

I made the flower with some pieces of pink cardstock, I distressed the edges with a distress ink pad and put a brad in the centre.

This is the sketch at the Lili of the Valley challenge:

I also want to say that I was the lucky winner of Michelle's amazing blog candy!! How awesome! Thank you so much Michelle, I look forward to receiving it! :)

Oh, and I will have an exciting news to share on Saturday!!

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day! :)
