I'm back!!! :)

Hello!

I just returned from my vacation to Greece last night! It was wonderful!!!

I thought I would share a couple of the photos I took there. The first one is one of my favourites, Sunrise on Halkidiki (Chalkidiki).

I took this photo from the beach in Ierissos.

And look what arrived while I was away,I won quite a few challenges in July and these are some of the stamps that arrived:

I won a Basic Grey challenge, the prize was a Simon Says vaucher and I chose three Stampavie stamps (one RAM and two Penny Johnson), then I won a High Hopes challenge where I got to choose a High Hopes stamp. I didn't have to think long, as "Jenny's Glowbugs" stamp was on my wishlist for quite a while now. :) And I also won the Belles 'n Whistles challenge, the prize was one of Belles 'n Whistles stamps of my choice. That beautiful House Mouse set, which is also in the photo, I ordered ( I just had to lol) before I went to Greece. I bought it at Bunny Zoes Crafts. I can't wait to ink some of these up, but there's so much catching up to do.

This weeks challenge at Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts has been set by the lovely Jane. She chose the theme - "Shabby Chic". Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments!

This is my DT card, which I also made before the trip.

All the stamps are from the Whiff of Joy, "Sheherazade kit". I used the main image, the lamp and the sentiment stamp for the first time.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils, as usual.

I'm entering the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft challenge which has the theme - "Lace"
Pocket Full of Poisies has the theme - "All thet Glitters"

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day! :)

Whimsy Stamps August Challenge - Anything Goes!!

Hello!

What an exciting day for everyone at Whimsy Stamps and all the Whimsy lovers!! :)
Not only did the new Whimsy Stamps digital release come out today and is available for purchase in the Whimsy Stamps Store, but also a fabulous Whimsy Digital blog hop just started a few minutes ago on the Whimsy Inspirations blog. The DT creations are absolutely amazing and as usual there is also a prize to be won, so just check out this post to see how to take part in the blog hop! :)

Oh, but that's not all!! A brand new Whimsy Stamps , August challenge has also just been posted on the Whimsy Inspirations blog! The theme is "Anything Goes", so you can make pretty much anything as long as you use a Whimsy Stamps image whether a rubber or a digital, it's up to you. :)

The DT has made the most beautiful samples for this challenge and as usual there is a prize to be won. One lucky participant will get to choose 5, yes 5 Whimsy Stamps digital images of their choice. How awesome is that! ?

And now, my creation for the challenge.I thought I would try something a bit different this time, so I've decided to make a double pocket card. I saw this video some time ago and that's where the inspiration came from.
I have used these wonderful Fancy Friendship Tags designed by Ann Vento from the July Whimsy Stamps rubber release. I also stamped one of the sentiments from the "Moonlit Ride and accessories" stamp set designed by Crissy Armstrong from the same rubber release.

The papers are MME. The flower is Prima, the brad is Woodware. The lace and the ribbon are from stash.

i stamped the tags, then cut them out and mounted them onto pieces of a craft cardstock and added some rope from stash.

This is what the tags look like! Aren't they just beautiful?! I distressed the tags with distress ink pad "Tattered Rose" and added some sparkle with my Sakura gelly roll pen.

There are three tags in the set and this is what the third one looks like.

And this is the sentiment.

Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to take part in Whimsy Blog Hop and to enter our Whimsy August challenge which is open till August 31st, noon EST. :)
