Tic Toc - CCT DT card

Hello!
At Cute Card Thursday this week we have a wonderful challenge called "Tic Toc". We would like you to make your creations inspired by a clock or time. It can be anything: an image, a sentiment, a clock shape...

Here is my card:

I have used a cute Sarah Kay image called "Noel - Eve", as I remembered that there was a small clock in the scene. The sentiment and the corner stamps are Queen Kat Designs, the papers are MME - "The Merry Days of Christmas" bought at Quixotic Paperie".

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils.

Stop by my blog tomorrow, as I will have a sneak peek of one of the new Whimsy Stamps that are going to be released in a couple of days. :)

Don't forget to enter the Cute Card Thursday challenge! :)

Good night!

Professor Owl - Whimsy DT

Hello!

One of my cousins graduated recently and I wanted to make a card for him. I thought this Whimsy Stamps digital image was just perfect for the occasion. The card is rather simple, but considering it was for my cousin, it had to be. :)

The image is called Professor Owl and it has been designed by Melissa Jenkins, the sentiment is from the New Beginnings digital set designed by Raindrop Echo Design. The paper, rope and button are from stash.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils.

With this card I'm also entering: A Spoon Full of Sugar with the theme - "Anything Goes"

I can only tell you that some super exciting things are going to happen at the Whimsy Stamps, starting next week, so stay tuned! :)

Have a great week!

Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts challenge - So Charming

Hello!

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!
It's windy and rainy here today, but it's nice to look at the dreary weather through the window, while one is confortably cuddled inside where it's warm and cozy. :)

This week it was my turn to choose a theme at Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts, so I've decided we would go Charming, the challenge is therefor to use Charms on your creations.

I'm slowly getting into the Autumn mood, so I thought I would make an Autumn card, again, this time a halloween themed card.

There are a couple of reasons why I decided to make a halloween card: I wanted to use one of Helen's new images from Keep it in the Family range - Charlotte halloween, my new halloween papers "Black Bird" - Memory Box" arrived the other day and since the theme is "Charms" and I have some awesome halooween themed charms, I didn't have to thing long. :)
The image can be found in the Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts Shop, including other craft products which Helen has in shop. I bought the "Memory Box" paper at Quixotic Paperie. The sentiment is Whiff of Joy, the Prima flower and the charm came from the Bunny Zoes Crafts and the lace and ribbon are from a local craft store.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils.

I'm also entering the Stamp Something challenge which has the theme - "Something with fall colours".

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to enter the Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts challenge, remember the theme is - "Charms".

Have a good day! :)

Thankful - CCT DT card

Hello!
This week at Cute Card Thursday we have a fabulous sketch by Leann!

This is my card:

Sorry for the bad quality of the photo, my batteries were pretty empty. I have used the stamps from the last years Whiff of Joy Autumn kit. The pumpkins, the corner stamp and the sentiment are all from the same kit. One of the papers is MME, the other one is from stash. The lace and the ribbon are from a local craft store.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils and added some glitter glue.

This is Lean's sketch:

I'm entering the Whiff of Joy challenge which has the theme - "Thank You or Thanksgiving.
Everybody Art challenge with the theme - "Autumn"

Thank you for stooping by and don't forget to enter the Cute Card Thursday challenge! :)

My first House Mouse card :)

Hello!

I've always loved those cute House Mouse images, and it's been awhile since I decided to get a few of the stamps, but it was only recently, sometime in July, when I was actually able to buy some of them. As soon as I saw that House Mouse sets were available at Bunny Zoes Crafts I ordered one. Here is a card I made with one of the images from the set.

The image is from the House Mouse set - "Fireplace". The paper is Heidi Grace, the flowers are Petallo. The sentiment is Queen Kat Designs, while the lace, ribbon and the rope are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils.

I'm entering the House Mouse & Friends challenge which have a special sketch and blog hop (2years anniversary of the challenge blog)

Whiff of Joy GD call

Hello!

The Whiff of Joy GD call is open since September 16th. This time Katharina wants us to make a bottle tag, of course using at least one Whiff of Joy stamp.

Here is my entry:

I used Carol Singing Charlotte Whiff of Joy stamp for this tag, I recently got it. The little sentiment (I needed a small one to fit the tag) is also Whiff of Joy . The flowers are Prima, the brads are Woodware; the lace and the ribbon came from a local craft store.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils. Distressed with distress ink pad "Vintage Photo". I also added some stickles glitter glue "Frosted Lace" and Sakura gelly roll pen.

Don't forget to enter the Whiff of Joy GD call which is open till September 23rd.

Ride Em Cowgirl and my Whimsy custom rubber stamp :)

Good evening!

I decided to use this adorable Ride Em Cowgirl digital image for my Whimsy Stamps DT card today and my custom rubber Whimsy Stamp arrived the other day so I used it here for the first time. :)

The image is one of the Whimsy Stamps digital images from September release. Like I said it's called "Ride Em Cowgirl" and it's been designed by Melissa Jenkins . The sentiment stamp is from the "Moonlit Ride and accessories" stamp set designed by Crissy Armstrong. I used two punches: a border and a star punch. The tag is made with one of the Grungeboard shapes by Tim Holtz. The lace, ribbon and the rope are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils.

And I used my custom rubber Whimsy Stamp which I got the other day! I love it! I think it's beautiful! But, have you seen all the designs? They have been designed by Ann Vento.

Here is a closer look at mine:

I'm entering a couple of challenges with this card:

And another little update about the Whimsy Stamps Store, the good news is - the store is going to be restored, it will take only several days, so just a little patience. Here is an update from Denise! :)

Good Morning,

As many of you know, the Whimsy Stamps Online Store has been offline for the past few days, as we have been upgrading our hosting server to support all of our great customers, and the increased demand we have been experiencing over the past few months. Please accept our sincerest apology for any inconvenience this has caused you. We greatly appreciate your patience and support.

Our tech support team has been feverishly working to make the transition, but an issue that occurred with our store during the transition has forced us to do a full restore of our database. The good news is they will be able to get us back online - the bad news is it may take as many as 7 to 10 days to do so. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and promise that while we may not be online, we are still working to serve our customers.

All orders placed before the server switch have been shipped and/or are pending shipment. We are waiting on custom orders which should be here on Friday, September 17th. Those orders will be shipped immediately. If you have ordered digital stamp products and you did not have access to retrieve those files, please email us at whimsystamps@gmail.com and we will promptly send you the files via email.

Lastly, if anyone would like to place an order while we are offline, you can email us at whimsystamps@gmail.com and we will send you an invoice through PayPal and process your order as soon as possible. Digital stamp orders can be filled via email and I can ship out rubber stamp products. If you are willing to email orders, we are more than willing to provide you with the best customer service possible to get you what you need.

We do have many exciting events and promotions planned for the coming weeks at Whimsy and we are determined to not let those plans be affected by this…let's just call it… a mess! We will continue to bring our customers new digital and rubber stamps and we will be back better than ever! Please hang in there with us, check for updates on Facebook and our Whimsy Inspirations Blog. We will post any new updates as soon as they are available.

Thank you sincerely for your continued support and patronage.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely evening! :)

Whimsy Stamps Store Update

Hello!

I have an important update about the Whimsy Stamps Store , as many of you have probably noticed the store is off line, right now. This is very hard for Denise, but she is doing everything she can to have the store back up. I have copied Denise's post, because I wouldn't want to wite something incorectly or simply miss to write an important information. Here is what she has to say:

Morning,

I am sure many of you have noticed that the Whimsy Stamps store is off line. On Sunday we closed the store for what we thought would be 24 hours to perform maintenance on the store and move everything to a new server. We had been having many server issues in recent weeks and were hopeful that moving to a new server would remedy that.

Well, now more than 96 hours later the server switch is done but the store has crashed. I do have someone who helps me with tech support as I am not savvy when it comes to the admin side of running a website. She is working very hard to restore things, but every time she makes a little head way something else goes wrong. And because I don't know how to help her, I really don't have any information as to when things will be fixed.

At this time I have no idea when the store will be back on line and while I sit here in a puddle of my own tears, I am at a loss for what to do. I am SO sorry to my artists and all of my loyal customers. If I had ever known something like this could/would happen, I would have lived with the old server and suffered through. It was never my intention to be off line for as long as we have and each day makes me sadder and sadder.

I do want everyone who placed orders before the server went down to know that I have those records printed out and your product(s) will be on the way to you shortly. Custom designs will be arriving here tomorrow and shipping out ASAP. If you have purchased a digital image and were not able to retrieve it, just shoot me an email and I will send you your file. Again, I would like to apologize for the delays and confusion and all this inconvenience.

Please do know that I am not giving up! Even if it means starting the store over, I will have it up and running again. We have some amazing things coming in the next few weeks and I can't wait for you to be able to see. I just need sone time to get things going again. And if you hang in there with me, I will have a little surprise for you when we return.

Thank you to all of those who have sent comments and emails of support. Whimsy has the BEST friends and customers. And we will return....just not exactly sure on the time. I will post updates here and on the Whimsy Blog as often as I have new information.
Thanks everyone.

I'm sure the customers and Whimsy friends will understand, if there's something you would like to order just email Denise. She is one of the kindest and loveliest persons and I'm sure things will sort out soon. :)

Autumn Winds

Hello!

Don't you just love Autumn!? I do! I really love everything about it. When you live in the country you really get the opportunity to see it in all its glory! In the golden corn fields, in the sound of tractor and saw, in the scent of grape, baked apples and pumpkin seeds...

The moment I saw the stamp which I used on my card bellow, I knew I had to have it! :)

The stamp is called "Autumn Winds" designed by Rachelle Anne Miller and was released by Stampavie. Two of the papers I used are "Heidi Grace", the other two are "Basic Grey". The sentiment stamp is "Paper Pretties', the flowers are Petallo, the brad is Woodware.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils.

I'm entering the Stampavie challenge which has a sketch by Marga.
