Dudovi, dudovi.../Mulberries, mulberries...

Zdravo!

Nadam se da ste svi imali ugodan vikend! :) Ja sam malo radila, citala, kuvala, vozila bicikl... Volela bih da sam mogla ici na kupanje... sledece nedelje, nadam se. :)

Jako bih volela bih da zivim pored mora...Ostrvo u Grckoj bi bilo savrseno, obozavam Grcku. :)

Da li vi imate neke planove za leto? Planirate li da putujete negde?

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! :) I worked a little, read, baked, biked... I  would have loved to go swimming, though... but I hope to go next week. :) 

I wish I lived by the sea... An island in Greece would be perfect, I love Greece. :)
Do you have any plans for the summer?  Will you be travelling anywhere?

Volite li da jedete dudove? Nalazite li da su preslatki? Ili mozda jednostavno ne volite njihov ukus?

Do you like to eat mulberries? Do you find them too sweet? Or maybe you just don't like the taste? 

 

Ja volim da jedem dudove, mi imamo jedan dud u basti, prilicno star i relativno veliki i nazalost, veliki broj dudova zavrsava na zemlji, jer je prosto nemoguce pojesti ih sve. Zato sam ja odlucila da potrazim neki lep recept, da iskoristim neke od dudova za kolac, mafine, hleb ili slicno. Posto sam procitala nekoliko recepata, a jesam nasla par zanimljivih, odlucila sam da napravim mafine i to po sopstvenom receptu. Pa sam mislila da bih mogla da ga podelim sa vama, ako vam se ucini dovoljno izazovnim da mu pruzite priliku. :)

I do like to eat mulberries and we have one mulberry tree in the garden, it's pretty old and relatively big and, unfortuantelly, many a mulberry ends up on the groud, as it's impossible to eat all. That's why I decided to look for a nice recipe to use some of them for a cake, muffins, a bread or so. After reading a few recipes, and I did find a couple of interesting ones, I decided to make muffins and to follow my own recipe. So, I thought I would share it with you, if you find it tempting enough to give it a go.:)

Mafini sa dudovima i jabukom

1 jaje

5 kasika secera

5 kasika mleka

3 kasike ulja

1 jogurt

1 pakovanje vanilin secera

1 kasicica praska za pecivo

1 kasicica sode bikarbone

prstohvat soli

15 kasika brasna

1/2 kasicice cimeta

1 jabuka

1 limun

secer u prahu

100 g dudova (ociscenih)

Dobro umutiti jaje i secer. Dodati mleko, ulje i jogurt. Zatim dodati vanilin secer, prasak za pecivo, sodu bikarbonu i prstohvat soli. Dodati brasno i cimet i sve lepo sjediniti.

Oljustiti i izrendati jednu jabuku i dodati je u smesu zajedno sa jednom kasikom limunovog soka. Na kraju dodati ociscene dudove, umesati ih samo kasikom.

Zagrejati rernu na 200 C. Podmazati kalup za mafine, rasporediti smesu u njih i peci oko 30 minuta na 200C. Na svaki ispecen mafin staviti nekoliko kapi limunovog soka, a zatim posuti prah secer.

Dobije se 12 vecih mafina.

Mulberry/Apple Muffins
1 egg 

5 spoons of sugar 

5 spoons of milk 

3 spoons of oil 

1 liquid yogurt (180 ml) 

1 pack vanilla sugar 

1 tea spoon baking powder 

1 tea spoon baking soda 

a pinch of salt 

 15 spoons of flour 

1/2 tea spoon cinnamon 

1 apple 

1 lemon
powdered sugar

100 g  mulberries  

Mix egg and sugar well. Add milk, oil and yogurt and mix. Add vanilla sugar, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt and mix again. Add flour and cinnamon to the mixture and mix.
Peel and grate one apple and add it to the mixture, together with one spoon of lemon juice. Mix again. At the end add in clean mulberries, using only a spoon to blend them into the mixture. 

Preheat oven to 200C. Butter a muffin mould, pour the mixture into the mould and bake for about 30 minutes at 200C. Pour a few drops of lemon juice on each baked muffin and then sprinke with powdered sugar.
It gives 12 bigger muffins.

Ne mogu da verujem da je proslo preko pet meseci od kad sam objavila post na svom blogu.. Ali, zaista mi je trebao odmor od pravljenja cestitki i blogovanja, a takodje sam morala i da obavim neke  druge, bitne stvari, u medjuvremenu. 

Vise nisam student!

I can't believe it's been over five months since I posted on my blog... But, I really needed to get some rest from cardmaking and blogging and also to get some other, important things done in the meantime.

Da, diplomirala sam!!! Konacno. U Aprilu. Oh, kako je dobar osecaj znati da si zavrsio sa studiranjem. :) Mada, mozda se vratim tome na jesen...

Yes, I graduated!!! Finally. In April. Oh, it's such a nice feeling to be done with studying. :) Though, I might get back to it in Autumn...

Jesam sama napravila ovu cestitku (kako narcisoidno od mene ;) ), imam ovaj pecat vec neko vreme, ali nikako da mi pruzi sansa da ga upotrebim, tako da prosto nisam mogla da propustim ovu priliku. :) Pecat je  Stamping Bella,  pod imenom "Diplomabella" i obojila sam je vodenim bojicama. Papir je Prima, sentiment je takodje Stamping Bella, eksercic (brad) je Woodware, cvet je Petalloo.

I did make this card myself (how narcissistic of me ;) ), I've had this cute stamp for quite a while and I've never really gotten a chance to using it till now, so I just couldn't miss this opportunity. :) The stamp is Stamping Bella, called "Diplomabella" and I coloured her with watercolour pencils. The paper is Prima, the sentiment stamp is also Stamping Bella, the brad is Woodware and the flower is Petalloo.

Ali nije sve bilo samo posao i ucenje, uzivala sam provodeci vreme sa svojim deckom, u odlascima u setnje, jedenju sladoleda zajedno, gledanju filmova, kuvanju, tako najvise volim da provodim vreme. :)

Takodje sam uzivala provodeci vreme sa svojom sestricinom i sestricem, moja sestricina ce napuniti godinu dana u avgustu. Kad pre prolete godina?

Bilo kako bilo, nadam se prijatnijem vremenu, sa temperaturama od 36 C, ko bi mogao da uziva u letu... Evo jednog predloga za osvezavajuci napitak, koji ja pripremam cesto u poslednje vreme, trenutno je sve u vezi sa malinama u mojoj kuhinji, kolaci od malina, dzem, sok, jogurt...:)

But, it wasn't all work and studying, I've enjoyed spending time with my boyfriend, going for walks, eating ice cream together, watching movies, cooking, it's how I love spending time the most. :)

I've also enjoyed spending time with my niece and nephew, my niece will be one in August. Where did the year go?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to cooler weather, with temperatures of 36C, who could enjoy summer... I hope you're having a nice weather, here is a suggestion for a refreshing drink, which I've been making often lately, it's all about raspberries now in my kitchen, raspberry cakes, jam, juice, yogurt... :)

Vocni jogurt sa malinama i bananom

1 banana 

100g svezih malina

250ml jogurta (oko casa i po)

Izblendirajte i uzivajte. Treba da bude dovoljno za dvoje. :)

100 g fresh raspberries

250 ml liquid yogurt

Blend and enjoy. It should be enough for two. :)

White on White - EHA Challenge

I´m here to post my EHA challenge DT card, I should have posted it earlier, but better late than never, right?

The current Elphine House Australia challenge is a photo inspiration. There are many nice colours and ellements on the photo to inspire you, but I chose two colours - orange and blue.

EHA DT card and EHA sketch challenge

It´s been over 10 days since I posted a card, I haven´t been able to, my monitor broke last week. :(
I´m now using my boyfriend´s old laptop, but till I don´t get a new monitor I won´t be much online.

Snow Fight...a book card

Hello!

I decided to try to make my first ever book card. I'm not sure how happy I'm with the result, but here it is.



I used this adorable "Snow Fight", Belles 'n Whistles stamp from the Snowbabies collection and my nesties to cut the image. The "branch" stamp is from Whimsy Stamps, I stamped it with brown ink. I distressed image and the papers with distress inks - "Tattered Rose" and "Vintage Photo".



I coloured the image with watercolour pencils and added some sparkle with my Sakura gelly roll pen, I even added someof it on the girls' lips and eyes, it shows a bit too much in the next photo, but it looks nice, otherwise. I also added some Stickles glitter glue on the snow.



The paper is from stash, I made the ticket using one of the accessories from the MME paper pack.The lace, ribbon and the flower are from stash.



I put one small chocolate bar on the inside and decorated the inside with some paper scarps. I used a border punch and three stamps from . The two white flowers are Poppicrafts.



I had forgotten to take a photo from this angle with my camera, so I took a couple of photos with my phone afterwards. I'm afraid those don't look very good...

Willow with Toddler

Hello!

Here is a card I made for my sister, I'm only a couple of months late... Well, I guess better late than never. ;) She had ababy girl and I decided to use for the very first time this beautiful Whiff of Joy stamp. I've had it for quite a while.



The stamp is called Willow with Toddler, but I needed a card with a baby girl here, hence the pink clothes. The lovely backing paper is Prima - "Annallee", the flowers are also Prima. The cute little charm is from Whimsy Stamps. The heart stamp is SU- "Merci" set, the lace, ribbon and the buttons are from stash.
