Masking Tutorial and our first challenge on facebook/Tutorijal maskiranje i prvi izazov na facebook-u

Zdravo svima!
Hello everyone!

Have you joined us in our facebook group?
 https://www.facebook.com/groups/604938522926596/
Today our first monthly challenge in the group, with the theme 'Anything Goes', has started!
I hope you will join us, as we have a prize for one lucky particiapant!
All we ask is that you use one of ur rubber or digi stamps and we even have some freebies available. :)

I hope you are in the mood for another tutorial.
This time I will show you how to do masking with stamps.

Strawberry Bowl with Strawberry - Sunflowerfield Designs.
For this tutorial you will need a stamp, at least one. I have used Strawberry Bowl with Strawberry - Sunflowerfield Designs.

This stamp consists of two stamps . Strawberry Bowl and a strawberry. I cut out the strawberry stamp, so taht it would be easier for stamping.

I stamped the image on a 300g watercolour paper with Archival Pigment Ink Pad -Brilliance- Graphite Black

And then I wanted to use a single strawberry stamp as well, so I decided to do some masking. ;)

To make the masking process easier, it would be good to have some Sticky notes on hand.

So, first I stamped one strawberry in front of the Strawberry Bowl. Then, I wanted to add at least another one, but so that the new one would appear to be BEHIND the first one in the picture. If I simply stamp over the first strawberry, I will only get a messy picture of two motivs that overlap. That is why I first stamp strawberry on the sticky note, like in the photo above and then I cut out the strawberry with scissors.

Nextstep, I put cut out strawberry over the stamped strawberry on the watercolour paper, to cover it and  protect it during the next stamping. Since it's the sticky paper (on the back side) it will stay in place during the stamping.

And now I stamp, over the strawberry, right in place where I want the second strawberry to be, remember, I wanted to place her behind the first strawberry.

Pecatiranje sam ponovila jos jednom, nedirajuci papir, ispecatirala sam jos jednu, trecu jagodu, desno, pored prve. Zatim sam podigla/odlepila papir sa prve jagode i evo sta sam dobila (slika iznad).

I repeated the stamping once more, keeping the paper in place, I stamped another, third strawberry, on the right, beside the first strawberry. Then I lifted/unstuck the paper off of the first strawberry and this is what I got (picture above)

Zaim sam obojila motive.
Then I coloured in the images.

In this way you can combine different images and make different scenes. Let your imagination fly high, the posibilities are endless. :)

A evo i moje gotove cestitke.
And here is my finished card.
