A Diagonal Double Pocket card

I made my first ever Diagonal Double Pocket card, following a great tutorial at the Split Coast Stampers. This weeks challenge in the Sugar Nellie section is to make A Diagonal Double Pocket card, so I used two (maybe even my favourite) Sugar Nellie stamps for the card.
I'm also entering the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft challenge which has the theme - "Childhood Memories"
Papertake Weekle challenge with the theme - "Cutie Pie"
Cute card Thursday, the challenge is - "Touchy Feely"

The stamps are both from the "Home Grown" range, "To catch a Big Fish" and "Purrfect Playmates". The heart stamp is SU, the paper, ribbon and the rope are from stash.

I coloured the images with watercolour pencils and have you noticed something? I didn't colour in the fish... I wanted to cover it with golden glitter glue and then I simply forgot and only when I already took and uploaded the photos I noticed it. lol I added the glitetr now, but I just can't take the photos again.

Well, thank you for stopping by and have a great day :)

  4. wow what a fabulous card and so beautifully embellished

Thanks for playing along at Cupcake this week

  5. It's lovely seeing somebody else using watercolour pencils - I like the way you've used two images a girl & a boy. And also the cat & fish - they are real opposites & I do like that kind of symbolism.
