Teddy Bear Picnic card for some challenges

Hello!
I decided to enter some challenges and I made a card using one of the "Belles 'n Whistles" stamps that I haven't used before.
I'm entering the following challenges:
Roses on Paper/Belles 'n Whistles challenge #34 - is called "Punch it" and it is to use punches on our cards.
Sketch and Stash challenge #32, I followed the sketch which I rotated and my new stash here is my stamp.
Simon Says challenge the theme is "Easter or Spring and some glimmer", I added some glitter to the flowers.
Corrosive challenges, the challenge this week is to make and Easter or a Spring themed card.

The stamp is "Belles 'n Whistles", Teddy Bear Picnic, I haven't gotten around to using it till now, but it is really beautiful. The paper is K&Co, Sparkly Sweet. The flowers are Prima and they came, just like the paper and the pink rose from Bunny Zoes Crafts. I used tow punches. The sentiment is Stampendous, while the ribbon and the pearl are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils.

Here is the sketch at the Sketch and Stamp:

And now some fantastic news: just guess what I won?
The entire, newest "Belles 'n Whistles" "Spring, Sring cleaning and Summer" release! WooHoo! Can you believe? I still can't!
I was a random winner from the Where do they live" challenge which I entered.
I really couldn't believe when I saw my name listed on the Belles 'n Whistles blog as one of the winners. What a surprise and excitement! And there were lots of winners, btw, as Summer is one of the most generous persons in the stamping world!

And I must add here, that I've been a fan of the "Belles 'n Whistles" stamps from the beginning, ever since the first release came out, last summer, I didn't hesitate for 1 second to get the whole release! I've been making cards and participating in the challenges, posting my cards in the gallery and I was so happy when, not only did I win a stamp back in October, but got to see two of my cards featured on the BnW blog, too!:)
What I'm trying to say is this: I think we all need some recognition and encouragement, to see that someone cares and appreciates that you chose to buy their stamps exactly and that you are a fan. I would be buying BnW stamps anyway, but it is all with more excitement and pleasure this way! :)
So, I want to say that I'm very thankful! :)
I can't wait to receive the most beautiful stamps! In the meantime, I have a couple more new "Belles 'n Whistles" stamps to ink up! :)

Thank you for stopping by!

My first easel card :)

Hello!

Have you seen the challenge that has been posted on the SCS forum in the Sugar Nellie section?

It is to make an Easel card and there is a Sugar Nellie goody bag to be won by one lucky participant! Awesome, right!?

I've been meaning to make an easel card for quite a while now, so this was like a perfect opportunity. I also wanted to try something a bit different with the stamp I used.

I used my A Little Birdie Told Me stamp from the Gorjuss Girls range at Sugar Nellie and wanted to make a little house for the Gorjuss and her bird.

The papers are K&Co, Sparkly Sweet. The sentiment is Whiff of Joy , the flower stamp is Queen Kat Designs and the orange lace and the ribbon are from stash.

The image was coloured with watercolour pencils (for the first time), much easier for colouring then the regular watercolours, though it is a difference, but I'm slowly geting used to it. :)

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to enter the Sugar Nellie challenge at the Split Coast Stampers. :)

The Sugar Bowl, challenge #31

Hello!

I made a card for my nephew's birthday in April. I had a perfect stamp, new, never used before. I bought it about a year ago, having my little nephew in mind.
It is a Sugar Nellie stamp, so I followed the sketch at the Sugar Bowl challenge which has an extra option, to add stars on our creations.

The stamp is called - "To catch a Big Fish",Sugar Nellie, from the "Home Grown" range. The papers are Basic Grey "Arhaic". The sentiment is Whiff of Joy and the stars are stamped with a stamp from a Christmas set that came from a local shop.

As usual, coloured with watercolours. I added some golden glitter glue on the fish, to make it look like a golden fish.

And this is Judy's sketch at the Sugar Bowl:

Whiff of Joy GD call (my second entry)

Good evening!

Today I made another card for the Whiff of Joy GD call. I wasn't really sure about the first card (forget my first entry lol), but with this one I'm pleased. It is in a totally different style from mine, but I like the result and I'm sure you'll be seeing more cards of the kind from me in the future. :)
It is a recipe challenge: 1 cardstock, 2 design papers, 1 button, 1 ribbon.

Anyway, here is my card:

I used Wee and Reindeer from the Whiff of Joy. It's never too early to start with Christmas cards, right. The papers are Basic Grey, Wassail. The ribbon (which is actually more greenish in real life, like the colour of Wee's shirt and hat) and the button are from stash.

Image was coloured with watercolours.

You have a couple more days to enter Katharina's GD call, to read all about it check this post.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely evening! :)

North Star Stamps projects

Good evening!
A couple of months ago I applied to the North Star Stamps design team call. Some days ago, I received an email from Kari and Trine and this week I received a couple of stamps. How exciting! I'm supposed to show what I'm able to acomplish with the stamps. They really are beautiful, check out the shop, follow the link or click on the banner above.

These are the projects I made using one of the stamps, this cute angel is perfect for Valentines cards and I also made a little box. :)

The stamp is North Star Stamp, the paper is K&Co, the flower is Prima, the rest is from stash.

This card fits the Stamp Something challenge which has the theme -" Distressed Somathings"

I coloured the image with watercolours and added sakura gelly roll pen on the wings.

My second project with the same North Star Stamp is this little box.

I used kraft cardstock and some lace and ribbon from stash, the white flower is Poppicrafts.

With this sample project I 'm also entering the Totaly Gorjuss challenge , which has the theme "Ribbon".

Again coloured with watercolours.

And another closer look at the top of the box.

Next week I will be posting some projects with another North Star Stamps stamp.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day! :)

The papers are K&Co, Sparkly Sweet, the flower is Prima, they came from Bunny Zoes Crafts. The butterfly and the sentiment stamp are SU, the ribbon and the button are from stash.

Coloured with watercolours, as usual.

Belle in Serbia... and she likes it here :)

Hello! there is a wonderful challenge posted on the Belles 'n Whistles blog, that I like very much! Unusual and totally original! :) It's called "Where do they live. The idea is to show all the different places in the world where Belles 'n Whistles stamps reside.

There is a great prize to be won, two lucky winers will receive the whole new set of BnW stamps! How awesome is that?!

Here are the details that are posted on the BnW blog:

1) Show me a view! Where do your Belles 'n Whistles stamps live?

2) Show me a Belles 'n Whistles stamp inside this photographic view.

3) Post your creative pic on your blog, being sure to link back to our Belles 'n Whistles challenge here...so that people don't think you are nuts!

So, as the challenge itself is totally different, I thought I would try to do something different, too. I'm from Serbia (Europe) and I live in a very pretty small town.
At first I wanted to take a photo outside, so you can see all the pretty nature here, but that wouldn't show you what Serbia really is.
So, I decided to show you some bits of my country through traditional souvenirs that I have in my home. Something that you should see if you ever come here as a tourist. When Belle first arrived here, last summer, she wanted to get to know her new home country and this is what I showed her, she totally loved everything! ;)

So, on the photo from the left you can see Basil, something that every (or almost every) house here has . It is used for preparing the holy water for Easter and "Slava" (home patron Saint). You can't really see the typical serbian house in this photo (sorry, I'm a bad photographer), but you can see the roof. :) "Licidersko srce" (the heart thing) something that I loved to eat when I was a child, you can buy them at every fair here, they are very tasty. Then we have a funny "Serbian family" postcard (funny but true lol), a pipe, traditional Serbian shoes called "opanci" and a traditional instrument called "frula".

And this is where I keep my Belles 'n Whistles stamps.

Oh, and I forgot to say, Belle even learned how to dance "kolo" (a traditional Serbian dance), in fact she loved it here so much, that she invited some of her friends to come too, needless to say they decided to stay here for good and I think there are yet, many more to come! :)

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Hello everyone!

Za ovu cestitku sam koristila prvi put moj "Belles 'n Whistles"pecat koji sam kupila jos proslog leta. Papir je K&Co, cvetici su "Queen Kat Designs" i "SU" pecati. Tracica je Poppicrafts, poruka je Whiff of Joy, odstampala sam "Easter" deo. Plavi zec, spajalica i dugme sa "stash"- a.

For this card I used for the first time my "Belles 'n Whistles" stamp, which I bought last summer. The paper is K&Co, the flowers are "Queen Kat Designs" and "SU" stamps. The ribbon is Poppicrafts, the sentiment is Whiff of Joy, I printed the "Easter" part. The blue bunny and the button are from stash.

Bojeno vodenim bojama.

And just to show you the stamps which arrived last week. As I love Sarah Kay very much, I couldn't help ordering some of them. Check out the Secret Crafter site, the price is great and they also have the newest release.
